The Gulf Coast Arts Alliance celebrates a decade of art and community, May 4

Posted

Just 10 years ago, the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance opened its doors and welcomed in artists from across the region and art lovers. Join in on the celebration May 4.

In May 2014, the Waterway Village was undergoing renovation and Acme Oyster House was newly opened. Members of the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance (GCAA) secured a building across the street from ACME and started conducting business as an art gallery.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary, the GCAA would like to invite the community to join them May 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The day of celebrating will include musical entertainment beverages and hor d'oevures. There will also be chances to win original art.

The GCAA is a nonprofit organization devoted to advancing all facets of the arts in the communities within the Alabama Gulf Coast and beyond. To become a vendor or volunteer, visit gulfcoastartsalliance.com or call (251) 948-2627.
The Gulf Coast Arts Alliance is at 225 E. 24th Ave., Gulf Shores.
