Elberta man dies in Mobile crash

MOBILE, Alabama — An Elberta-man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning on U.S. 90 near Louis Tillman Road in western Mobile County.

David Earl Brannon, 52 of Elberta, was traveling east in a 2017 Ford-150 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

Brannon, who was not using a seat belt, according to a release issued Tuesday, by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. Alabama State Troopers are conducting an ongoing investigation.
