FOLEY - The Foley United Methodist Church, located at 915 North Pine Street, gave out free milk to the community on Saturday, May 23. The service was offered via drive-thru, so no one was required to exit their vehicle. Everyone was offered a gallon of 2 percent and a gallon of whole milk.

Church members plan to continue offering this act of kindness to the community throughout June. Anyone can text MILK to 251-333-0515 to receive a text alerting them to when the event will happen again.

The service is free to the community. No IDs or personal information is required to receive the free milk: simply drive through and pick up your supplies.

For those with kids or grandkids at home, be sure to mention them when you’re grabbing your milk to receive crayons and other goodies for them to enjoy.
