FOLEY, Alabama — Alabama State Troopers report that a third fatality over a five-day period has occurred in the Foley area.

At around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, Troopers responded to a fatal, two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 65 and Charolais Road near Foley.

Malik William Nicely, 23, of Lillian was traveling south on CR 65 in a 2012 Honda Civic and attempting to turn left onto Charolais Road when his vehicle was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling north.

The Chevrolet was driven by Andrea Kristine Rayborn, 25, of Foley. Nicely and a 5-year-old passenger were airlifted to hospitals in Florida while a third occupant, Jennifer Marie Younce, 36, of Gulf Shores, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rayborn was not injured, but a passenger in her vehicle, Elizabeth Clark, was transported to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.

No further information is available at this time as troopers continue to investigate.
