Robertsdale’s Daizee Finley went the distance to open the season with the pitching victory for the Golden Bears. She struck out eight, walked one. The Lions took an early 4-1 lead but RHS added two runs in the fourth and rallied for five runs in the sixth.

At the plate for RHS, Kelly Adams had one hit, scored a run and stole two bases, Caylyn Campbell also had a hit, a run and two stolen bases. Lauren Terrell had one hit.

For Foley, Sara Brooke Larson had a single and a double to lead the Lions while Krystin Kennell had a double and Sarah Tibbs had one hit.
