Juanita Campbell

Juanita Campbell, age 85, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.

She was born to the late Agnes and Macy King on July 4, 1931 in Richmond, Virginia.

Juanita married William Campbell ON Aug. 25, 1951. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother to her two sons and a lifelong mother figure to her younger sister. Throughout her life, she provided strong and loving support to many family members.

Family and friends were Juanita's passion and delight. She was active throughout life and very engaged in numerous organizations, including the Jahnke Road Women's Club, the Pensacola Women's Bowling League, more recently the Lillian Newcomers Club, with a special passion the Gulf Coast Stitchery Guild and perhaps most prominently the Lillian Perdido Bay Library, a commitment she cherished and to which she devoted herself.

Juanita is survived by her sons, Robert Campbell and David Campbell; her sister, Theresa Inge; two daughters-in-law; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind numerous loving friends.

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Lillian Community Club, 34148 Widell Ave., Lillian, Alabama.
