K.J. Minniefield has been rewarded for his football play. The Point University senior linebacker has been named to the all-Mid-South Conference Appalachian Division first team.
The Daphne High School graduate finished with 72 tackles, which tied for the team lead, in 11 games. His 13 tackles for loss and three sacks led the team. He also had a 23-yard reception.

Harvard University safety Tanner Lee is on the all-Ivy League second team. The past Trojan finished with a career-high 54 tackles, third on the squad, in 10 games. He had a team-high three interceptions, including one for a touchdown, forced one fumble and recovered one fumble. He received at the team's banquet the Crocker Award recognizing him as the team's most valuable player. In addition, he received the Lamar Award for dedication to the program, making him the first Harvard player to collect both honors in the same year.

MacMurray College senior linebacker London Gulley is on the all-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference first team. The Baldwin County High product led the team with 98 tackles in 10 games and was second in the conference in tackles per game. He forced a fumble and recovered one.

MacMurray wide receiver Devonta Preston is on the all-Upper Midwest second team. The former Baldwin County High Tiger was first in the conference with 5.1 receptions per game and eighth with 65.8 receiving yards per game.

Kaleb Coleman has been named Mississippi College's most valuable senior by the Jackson Touchdown Club. The Robertsdale High alumnus had 56 tackles, second on the squad, in 10 games. He led the team with two sacks for 6 yards and had a team-high two forced fumbles.

Women's volleyball
University of Mobile middle blocker Carley Hamric has been named to the all-Southern States Athletic Conference second team and the all-freshman team. The Spanish Fort High graduate ranked 11th in blocks per set in the conference. She was fifth on the team in kills.
