In August a “Shark Tank” type of TV program for Alabama’ entrepreneurs debuted on ABC. It presents an opportunity for Alabama’s entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to Alabama investors. This business pitch show is called “Alabama Upstarts” and it is filming multiple episodes in Mobile tomorrow.
Pilot and previous episodes can be viewed online to see ideas from onsite gas delivery to automatic brake light manufacturing. Are you interested in being a contestant on future shows? Another way the Alabama SBDC is providing opportunities to Baldwin County’s entrepreneurs is by teaming up with the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber to provide a business workshop entitled “Kick off Your New Business!” which is Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Chamber office in Gulf Shores.
