South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Increasing Services in Gulf Shores

FOLEY – In response to a growing need for medical services in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach communities, South Baldwin Regional Medical Center is expanding the hours of operation for South Baldwin Medical Center – Gulf Shores Urgent Care and adding primary care physicians to the local clinic.

Currently, South Baldwin Medical Center – Gulf Shores Urgent Care is open every day from 7am to 9pm. Starting March 1, the clinic will be open 14 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, from 7am to midnight. Starting July 1, the clinic will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.

“We are committed to increasing our community’s access to the right level of healthcare when they need it,” Keith Granger, CHSPSC, LLC Regional President and Market CEO for Alabama shared. “This is just the start of many exciting things to come for our services to coastal Alabama.”

South Baldwin Medical Center - Gulf Shores Urgent Care provides patients with a convenient alternative for ready access to health care for minor illnesses and injuries. This could relate to colds, flu, sinus infections, earaches and stomach ailments, minor sprains, allergic reactions, wounds, minor burns and more. South Baldwin Medical Center - Gulf Shores Urgent Care also offers laboratory and imaging services including CT and X-ray with the extended hours. Other diagnostic services offered include digital mammography, open MRI, ultrasound, bone density scans and vascular ultrasound by appointment.

Primary Care Services

In addition, Gulf Shores Family Medicine clinic is announcing the addition of two new physicians. Julian Jesubatham, MD, MPH, Internal Medicine, and Sallyann Jessie Ganpot, MD, FAAP, Pediatrics, are available to provide health care to patients of all ages. The Gulf Shores Family Medicine clinic at 2103 West 1st Street is open between 8am-5pm Monday thru Thursday and 8 a.m. - noon on Friday.
