Thomas Hospital Auxiliary presents service pins at annual meeting

FAIRHOPE - Thomas Hospital honored its many dedicated volunteers for their hours of service at the Thomas Hospital Auxiliary’s 57th annual meeting.

More than 100 Thomas Hospital Auxiliary members attended the meeting to hear an update on Thomas Hospital from President Ormand Thompson, receive service pins for their hours of service, install new Auxiliary board members and officers for 2017-2019 and present a $90,000 donation to the Thomas Hospital Foundation.

Members of the Auxiliary’s new board of directors are President Linda Ricks, Vice President Maria Gwynn, Rusty Downey, Stephenie Gasbarro and Betty Poser. New Auxiliary officers are President Linda Ricks, Vice President Maria Gwynn, Treasurer Tom Davis, Recording Secretary Patricia Cooper and Corresponding Secretary Em Johnson.

The following Auxilians received service pins for their years of devoted service to Thomas Hospital and Thomas Medical Center: 5-year pins were presented to Susan Boteler, Vivi Brown, Pat A. Cooper, Joanne Hancock, Bambi Jones, Mike Lockwood, Cathy McCulloch, Jeanne Raggio, Sam Reese, Amalia Rodriguez, Wayne Sasser, Frances Turk and Claire Webb; 10-year pins were presented to Florine Brogan, Dianne Comer, Kathy Corelli, Sharon Faust, Stephenie Gasbarro, Janet Hixon, Julie Holden, Lew Humphrey, Colin Kelleher, Nancy Mitchell, David Nash, Grace Nelson, Garnetta Nowlin and Juanita Smith; a 15-year pins were presented to Joanne Evans, Helen Garrett and Alvida Rucando; a 25-year pin was presented to Voncile Lewis; and a 30-year pin was presented to Mary Jean Havranek.
