FAIRHOPE – City Council members want the number of lots on a proposed Planned Unit Development on Alabama 181 reduced before deciding whether to approve the project. The council voted Nov. 25 to table a proposal to rezone 38 acres at the intersection of Alabama 181 and Bay Meadows Avenue. The request would have allowed 99 single-family homes to be built on about 34 acres of that parcel with the rest zoned for business. more
