Ashley Taylor, Blake Nichols crowned Homecoming Queen and King at RHS

ROBERTSDALE -- Seniors Ashley Taylor and Blake Nichols were crowned Queen and King at Homecoming festivities for Robertsdale High School on Friday.

Taylor was chosen among nine seniors for the title of Homecoming Queen during halftime festivities during the Bears home contest against the LeFlore Rattlers at J.D. Sellars Stadium.

Nichols was announced as Homecoming King during a pep rally held Friday afternoon in the gym at RHS, also chosen among nine RHS seniors.

Senior court members are:

Queen's court, Miranda Campbell, Michayla Eakin, Danielle Floyd, Emily Garrison, Sofia Meza, Clair Robbins, Erin Summeville and Whitney Williams.

King's court, Hunter Allen, Kaleb Devine, Taylor Garriga, Ian Jones, Nate Krebs, Lane Pope, Hayden Salter and Michael Zona.

In addition, three juniors, three sophomores and three freshmen were selected for the Queen's court.

They are: juniors, Kaitlyn Allen, Daizee Finley and Betsy Hurtado; sophomores, Anna Criswell, Catie Roberts and Melody Weaver; freshmen, Bailey Hart, Maggie Moore and Andy Taylor.

The Students Inspiring Students Homecoming Princesses were also recognized during Friday's festivities. They are Destiny Jordan, Savannah Chaulk, Dixie Lee York, Karen Robbins, Denekia Henderson, Brooke Wilson and Genesis Conway.
