ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office would like to make the public aware of several counterfeit bills being passed throughout Baldwin County.

According to a release issued Thursday by the BCSO Investigations Command, on at least three occasions, U.S. notes in $100 denominations have been passed in three cities with the marking “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY.”

The bills are similar real currency, but are marked in several locations that they are for motion pictures.

If you have any information, contact Sgt. Nathan Lusk with the BCSO Criminal Investigations Command, (251) 972-8589, extension 7618.
