PERDIDO, Alabama — One person was killed in a singe-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, Oct. 18 on Hoyle Bryars Road, one mile southwest of Perdido.
According to a release issued Monday by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Alabama Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday. The driver of a 2010 Toyota Corolla was killed when the vehicle entered a closed roadway area, went airborne and struck a bridge that resulted in the vehicle catching fire.
The name of the driver has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin. ALEA Troopers are conducting an ongoing investigation.
