Annie Sue Sloan, age 80, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020.
Sue was a former resident of Walhalla, South Carolina and a longtime resident of Keowee Keys, South Carolina. She was employed by Clemson University for several years, and was an avid South Carolina Clemson Tigers fan.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Sam Sloan of Fairhope; daughter, Debra (Danny) Nelson of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; sons, Dan (Stacy) Sloan of Fairhope, Ronnie (Jody) Sloan of Manteo, South Carolina; sister, Elaine Phillips of Atlanta, Georgia; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
