Baldwin County High School FBLA students win big at competition

BAY MINETTE, Alabama — Future Business Leaders of America members from Baldwin County High School took part in a county-wide competition Tuesday at Coastal Alabama Community College. BCHS students competed in five categories and placed in all five including three first place awards.

Representing BCHS included: Daniel Simpson, Kolby Wrightson, Dylan Milstid, James Dixon, Cross McReynolds, Wil Dobbins, Keri Cooper, Jacob Myers and Hailey Morrow.

First place awards included: team of Dylan Milstid and James Dixon, Website Design; Wil Dobbins, Impromptu Speech; and Hailey Morrow, Public Speaking.

Second place awards included: Daniel Simpson, Public Speaking; team of Kolby Wrightson and Jacob Myers, Public Service Announcement.

FBLA President Cross McReynolds won third place in Job Interview.

BCHS sponsors for the Future Business Leaders of America include Jolie Jones, Cherrie Wiggins and Jason Selph.

Jones said the students represented their school very well.

"It is not a surprise to us that they did well as we teach them each day and are continually impressed with their intelligence and creativity," she said.
