BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the death of a Bay Minette used auto parts employee on Tuesday.
According to a release issued Wednesday by investigator Andre L. Reid Jr., deputies responded Tuesday to F & S Used Auto Parts, 2307 S. U.S. 31, in Bay Minette to assist the Bay Minette Police Department with a death investigation.
Investigators learned that medical personnel were called to this location after Mohsen Kiana, 45, an employee at F&S, was found in the shop area unresponsive and bleeding. Mohsen was injured while working under a vehicle that was being held in the air by a fork lift. Mohsen was transported to a local hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
“Although this incident appears to be an accident, we are conducting a complete investigation to ensure no crime was committed,” according to the release. “Investigators conducted several interviews and crime scene personnel responded to collect evidence.”
The investigation is ongoing.
