C. Michael Arnold, age 75, passed away early Saturday morning Nov. 30, 2019.
Michael was a graduate of Organic School and the University of South Alabama, and a Navy veteran.
He was a lifelong resident of Fairhope and a former officer and current member of Fairhope Single Tax Colony.
He was a professional land surveyor. He followed in his father and grandfather's footsteps at Fairhope Title and Survey for many years.
He was a member of Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors. Michael was appointed by the governor to serve on the Alabama State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude W. Arnold and Elizabeth Jo Henderson; sister, Jackie; daughter, Jamie.
He is survived by his wife, Linda J. Arnold; children, Shelley, Mike, Brent (Suzanne), Jason (Nicole) and Ian (Kari) Arnold; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Paul, Sharon, Jack, Chuck, Margaret Lynn, Roger, Laurel, Tom, Willis, Seth, Mignon, Carolyn, Alodia; other loving family and friends.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
The family will receive friends from noon until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to City Hope Church "Merry Christmas Gulf Coast."
