Carol Anita Lee of Birmingham, Alabama, died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018. She was 82.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Euel and Ruth Abbott; brother, Paul Abbott; and husbands, Lewis Doss and Mack Lee.
She is survived by her sons, Kurt (Karen) Doss of Daphne, Alabama, Lance Doss of Clifton, New Jersey; grandsons, Zach Doss and Shane Doss; and granddaughter, Lindsay Young.
She attended Phillips High School in Birmingham, Alabama and Auburn University. Mrs. Lee was an active member of Huffman United Methodist Church.
She was a devoted wife and mother, who loved Auburn University, gardening, playing the piano, and her beagles.
A memorial service will be held at the Huffman United Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Carol Lee's name to the Huffman United Methodist Church, 711 Gene Reed Road, Birmingham, AL 35235.
