She and "Snooks" were avid dancers, having first met at a local dance, and continued proficiently dancing together on a regular basis throughout the years.

"Celie" loved gardening and sharing her beautiful plants and flowers. Family and close friends know that at every available opportunity "Celie" and "Snooks" got their boat out to go for a fresh water catch that usually resulted in one of her delicious fish dinners for which she was well known to prepare.

In all her active life, "Celie" was never too busy to share in the public witnessing ministry in her community.

On Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2 p.m., family and friends will gather for a memorial to remember the century of Celie's life, which will be conducted by Robert Spencer, an elder, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 8370 Gayfer Ave., Fairhope, AL.
