Contorno's bond revoked after Orange Beach arrest

ORANGE BEACH, AL – A judge revoked the bond on a woman charged with murder who was staying in Orange Beach with her grandparents.

Vegas Contorno was arrested in August for driving under the influence after an incident at the Undertow on Canal Road. Police were called to the scene and Contorno reportedly tried to drive away but ran her car into an Orange Beach police car.

She was free on a $250,000 bond on a charge of killing her boyfriend, Remington Foradori, in August of 2015 after an argument. She is accused of stabbing him to death. The pair was living together in Prattville and police say Contorno and Foradori were in a relationship and had a son together that was 3 months old at the time of Foradori’s death.

Contorno’s attorney, Susan James, said she acted in self-defense. She is currently in the Montgomery Metro Jail.

After the Orange Beach arrest, Contorno was placed in rehab and after her treatment was completed the judge revoked her bond, according to court records.
