ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — It was a family affair Thursday, May 3 at Central Christian School in Robertsdale as Daniel Crotts III signed to play soccer at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia.

“He’s worked very hard to get to this moment and we are very proud of him,” said Daniel’s father, Daniel Crotts Jr., who also served as the team’s coach at CCS. Crotts was also joined by his mother Renee and sister Justine.

The younger Crotts finished his career at CCS in the fall with a total of 28 goals and 53 assists over his high school career, which began as a sixth grader in 2011. He finished this past season with 18 goals and 16 assists, including with two hat tricks.

A multi-sport athlete at CCS, Crotts has also played varsity basketball since 2015 and played two years of varsity baseball.

He was a member of the Panhandle Christian Conference All-Conference teams for soccer and basketball this year.

He plans to major in business/sports management at Toccoa Falls while playing soccer for the Screaming Eagles and would like to coach soccer and teach.
