Fred G. Mott Jr., age 55, of Foley, Alabama, originally from Grove Hill, Alabama, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 after a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kay Raffield Coleman and Fred G. Mott Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Pierce Mott; brothers, Henry (Carol) Mott of Silverhill, Jonathan Mott of Elberta; a sister, Sydney Mott of Daphne; aunt, Becky (George) Hawkins of Grove Hill; aunt, Joann Reed of Semmes; nieces and nephews; three goddaughters; and a multitude of loving friends.
Fred had worked at Vulcan Signs in Foley for 32 years. He enjoyed golf, hunting and Auburn football. His friends knew him as fun loving and for his good hugs.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. at Oyster Bay Baptist Church.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
