ELBERTA - Elberta High School student Grace Stanley is the winner of the 2020 BBQ & Blues t-shirt art contest. Pictured here from the left, Vice President of South Baldwin Chamber Foundation Gale Croft, Chamber Diplomat Ashley Avery, Stanley displaying her winning artwork, Chamber Director of Events Rachel Spear, Chamber Event Operations Manager Kylee Raulerson, and South Baldwin Chamber Foundation Chairman Rich Caldwell.
Stanley’s artwork was chosen out of over 50 contestants. She was awarded a gift card, a complementary t-shirt featuring her design, a framed copy of her artwork, and two tickets to attend the 2020 BBQ & Blues Festival.
The Annual BBQ & Blues Festival is put on by the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds go to the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation, which supports schools in and around Foley’s feeder pattern. Each year students are encouraged by the schools’ art teachers to create a design for the event’s official t-shirt, with the top three artworks from each grade being submitted into the contest to compete for the win.
