FOLEY, Ala.— The visiting Tigers and hosting Lions took it to the limit Tuesday with Baldwin County winning in the deciding fifth set 15-7. Foley won the opening set 25-9, but BCHS battled back to win the next two games 25-23, 25-22. The Lions then rallied to win game four 25-23 and force the final set.
It was the first career head coaching win for new BCHS skipper Melissa Blaschak Sessions.
The Lions were forced to play without starting setter Taylor Thrasher who suffered a knee injury during warm ups.
Baldwin County will host Spanish Fort Sept. 6 at 5:30 p.m. Foley will host Escambia High Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m.
