ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Janet Wade on being named the Ambassador of the Month for August.

Wade started working at Citizens’ Bank in March of 1994 as an associate of the Fairhope office. She became an Ambassador of the Chamber in 2013.

Wade has been in the banking industry for 40 years and loves serving the people of Baldwin County.

“Being involved in banking gives me the perfect opportunity to serve our customers with all of their banking needs,” she said. “I believe that God gave me the ‘gift of service’ because I do love helping and serving others."

Wade worked in the Fairhope office for 18 years and transferred to the main office in Robertsdale in 2013. She has been with Citizens’ Bank for a total of 22 years as branch manager, loan officer and assistant vice president.

She is married to Bill Wade and they have five children and 14 grandchildren. Needless to say, family is a big part of her life. She loves being on the water whether it is in Gulf Shores or spending time at their river camp on Bay Minette creek. She is very involved in the life of her church at Rosinton United Methodist and also attends Guy’s Chapel United Methodist on Rabun where her husband serves as pastor.
