Jimmie Dee Curry, age 82, a resident of Summerdale, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018.
He retired from Baldwin EMC after 20 years of service. Jimmie was a member of Marlow United Methodist Church and was a participant of the Grimes Catfish Rodeo.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Landers of Foley, Sherry Nelson (Tommy) of Fairhope and Kay Landers of Summerdale; sons, Timothy Curry (Ann) of Summerdale and Rodney Curry (Belinda) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of Jimmie's life will be held Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Marlow United Methodist Church.
Visitation will begin at 1 until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Marlow United Methodist Church.
