John Alan Kitch, age 70, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2017.
He was a graduate of Penn State, a former resident of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area, a Baldwin County Master Gardener and one of the founding members of Mobile Bay Kayak Fishing Association, Mobile, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Arline Kitch; and brother, Dennis Kitch.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie Kitch of Fairhope, Alabama; sons, John (Regina) Diller of Orange Park, Florida and James (Brenda) Diller of Lewes, Delaware; five grandchildren; sister, Clare LeFevre of Las Vegas, Nevada; along with other relatives and friends.
A celebration of John's life will be held Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Visitation will follow the service.
