Lew was born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland. He had a long career with Chevrolet in sales and management after serving in the United States Army. He had numerous hobbies over the years which brought him much enjoyment. He loved boating and fishing. He even built and sold custom fishing lures and rods. He was enthralled with custom vehicles. He built, restored and showed numerous vehicles. He entered some in contests and is the proud owner of many many trophies. He was an active member in Gear Jammers Car Club of Baldwin County, Alabama. Lew and Linda loved the Gear Jammers family, and drew strength from their support and companionship. Dad held out hope until the end of having another opportunity to take his latest vehicle to show, “Teddy” his custom Camero. Dad was very inventive and artistic, adding the perfectionist “Lew” touch to our everyday lives. He enjoyed coloring with the grandkids, and teaching them how to blend colors, and add shading and depth to their creations. We will hold dear photos from many years of Pop Pop dressed as Santa with the grandkids!
