Magnolia Springs VFD receives lifesaving equipment

Posted

Magnolia Springs VFD added another lifesaving piece of equipment to the department. The Baldwin County Fire Chief’s Assn. through the Baldwin County Commission was able to use C.A.R.E.S. Act funds to purchase LUCAS CPR Devices for almost every fire department in Baldwin County.

This new device allows firefighters to deliver high-performance, continuous uninterrupted chest compressions with less strain. Along with the Lucas CPR device, Magnolia Springs VFD also received two additional Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

Pictured here, Fire Chief Kaylan Driskell, Firefighters Charlie Streit and Jonathan Hooper are participating in a hands on in-service on the new device.
