Foley nightlife was in full swing Friday, March 29, when once again Hotel Magnolia and Copper Kettle co-hosted an evening of local musicians and local food. Alex Warner, just back from playing pubs in Denver, Colorado, opened the evening for local brother/sister duo Melody and Christopher Duncan. Most know Melody as playing with Roman Street and Mulligan Brothers, but Melody is a fantastic musician and singer on her own. Combined with her very talented brother, the evening was a happy surprise enjoyed by all ages. Copper Kettle offered dinner crepes, homemade desserts and handcrafted teas.
“We enjoy working together,” said Robin Peters, partner of Copper Kettle. “Like many in the community we love to have this beautiful space at Hotel Magnolia available to enjoy an evening at.”
Next event will be April 12 featuring Christina Christian, another local who is working hard on her career and is loved by the community. Check out the Copper Kettle Events FB page for info on future events, www.facebook.com/CopperKettle.TeaBar or call 251-609-2832.
