BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The North Baldwin Chamber hosted its 71st Annual Meeting and Dinner on Thursday, Feb. 2 at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette.
Donna Givens with presenting sponsor Baldwin EMC, welcomed guests and Rep. Harry Shiver presented the invocation before dinner was served buffet style by Naman’s Catering.
Lyn Stuart, acting chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, presented the keynote address on what is great about Bay Minette and North Baldwin and looking toward the future.
The evening ended with the presentation of awards including:
The 2016 Harry B. Still Distinguished Service Award: Connie Gordon of Regions Bank.

The 2016 Small Business of the Year Award: Marissa Williams and staff at the North Baldwin Fitness Center.
The 2016 Business of the Year Award: President Gary Branch and staff at Faulkner State Community College, now known as Coastal Alabama Community College.
2016 Chairman Kimberly Cain of Coastal Alabama Community College presented the ceremonial gavel to 2017 Chairman Vinson Bradley of Huntingdon College, who presented the 2017 Executive Board of Directors and Board of Directors:
