Orange Beach Aquatics Center to reopen May 8

Orange Beach Aquatic Center is set to reopen May 8, after unforeseen issues with pool repairs.

In accordance with the state’s new “Safer at Home” order, spring hours will be in place and social distancing rules (gatherings of 10 or less and staying 6 feet apart) will be enforced. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Only current members will have use of the facility until further notice.

The kiddie pool and slide will be closed until further notice.

Members are strongly encouraged to use the pool for fitness-related activities such as lap swimming and aerobic activities. To accommodate everyone, it is requested that patrons’ limits use to one hour. Classes will not be held until further notice.
