POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony this week

The public is invited POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony at the “Eagle’s Nest” at the I-10 Overlook in Daphne.

The entire Honor Guard will be present to render honors which will include a 21 gun salute, Taps and flag folding. This will be followed by a short indoor ceremony at the “Nest”. We have a small table with the traditional POW/MIA table setting. A short narrative will be read.

The entire ceremony will not take more than 30 minutes. Since we have not yet been able to include advertising in our budget you haven’t heard from me since we last talked in May.
