Robbery suspect sought in Seminole

SEMINOLE, Alabama -- The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man they believe robbed a Dollar General store Tuesday night in Seminole.

According to a BCSO release issued Wednesday, a man entered the store at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday, produced a box cutter and demanded that the clerk give him money after the cash drawer was opened. He also demanded cigarettes, Newport Red Shorts. An undisclosed amount of cash and seven packs of Newport’s were taken from the store.

Surveillance video shows a man officials believe is the main suspect in the robbery. He is described as a white male with reddish/brown hair, 6-foot, 155 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

The suspect left on foot east bound and no vehicle was seen by the employees, according to the release.

Currently information is limited, but the Crime Scene Unit recovered several items of interest. Anyone who can identify this person is asked to contact the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Command with information, 251-972-8589.
