Robert Allen Norris Sr., age 90, a native of Indiana and a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019.
Mr. Norris was a lifetime member of the Magnolia Springs Wesleyan Church. As a teenager he assisted with the construction of the church.
He was a longtime row crop farmer in Baldwin County.
Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Campbell Norris.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Allen (Judy) Norris Jr., Stephen D. (Joyce P.) Norris, Daniel E. (Bernie D. Waters) Norris, all of Foley; two daughters, Patricia N. (Lew) Lasyone of Pineville, Louisiana, Barbara N. (Jim) Beam of Foley; four brothers, Herschel (Linda) Norris, Wesley Norris, Joe (Julia) Norris, all of Foley, Tom Norris of Atmore; two sisters, Phyllis (George) Holman, Ileeta Proctor, both of Foley; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
A celebration of his life will be held from Magnolia Springs Wesleyan Church, Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at 10 a.m.
Mr. Norris will lie in state from 9 until time of service.
Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
