Robert Lee "Bob" Bashor, age 74, a native of Long Beach, California and Joplin, Missouri, and a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2018.

Bob retired from service to the City of Joplin, Missouri, where he was a proud servant of the people. He also had a lifelong passion for landscaping, airplanes and cars.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Bashor of Foley; one daughter, Michelle (Joel) Dannelley of Carl Junction, Missouri; three sons, Richard (Judy) Bashor, Brian (Robin) Bashor, both of Joplin, Missouri, Robert (Ronda) Alves of Carterville, Missouri; one brother, John Bashor of Colton, California; eight grandchildren, Kandace Drake, Christopher Hensley, Emily Garron, Brent Bashor, Whitney Alves, Kelsey Bashor, Austin Alves, Sarah Alves; three great-grandchildren, Brantley, Avaree, Rowan; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Liberty Church in Foley, Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 at 2 p.m.
