Local award-winning author Rocky Porch Moore will appear at Trim-a-Tree Sunday, Dec. 9, from 2 – 5 p.m. in Suite 182 at the Tanger Outlet Center. Moore’s Southern gothic ghost story, Clemenceau’s Daughters, won the gold medal for horror at the Florida Authors and Publishers Association President’s Book Awards. A Gathering Misery, the sequel to the dark novel, is the 2018 recipient of the FAPA gold medal for horror.

Both books earned 5-Star reviews from Readers’ Favorite with Clemenceau’s Daughters also being recognized with an Honorable Mention for fiction in the prestigious Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards. Also available will be It’s Farm Market Day, Moore’s children’s book about a family’s adventure in Foley’s Heritage Park.

Moore’s work has appeared in Alabama Currents magazine, the Alabama Book Festival, Louisiana Book Festival, Decatur Book Festival, and many other book clubs and events throughout the Southeast. She will be a featured speaker at the Amelia Island Book Festival in February and expects to release her third novel Spring 2019.

Moore lives in Foley with her husband Russ, two daughters, and a passel of farm animals.
