MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- One of the most-highly recognized players in the state for 2018 Alabama’s All-Stars is also one of the highest-ranked scholars in the state. MIT-bound Chris Turberville of Spanish Fort is a three-year starter for the Toros, a member of the 2015 state-championship team and an All-Baldwin selection.
He is also a member of the National Honor Society, National French Society and Mu Alpha Theta with a 4.28 GPA and a 33 score on the ACT. He has committed to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, plans to concentrate in biology/genetics and pursue a career in medical research.
The 2018 Alabama All-Star Football team will meet Mississippi’s All Stars in the 32rd annual classic at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery on Monday (Dec. 17) at 6:30 p.m. Visit AHSAA.com for more on the game and other All Stars from around the state.
