Sherlon "Ray" Weston, age 83, a native of Atmore, Alabama and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2019.
Ray was a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired police officer with Fairhope Police Department, an avid fisherman, fan of the Atlanta Braves, Alabama football fan, and he loved helping people.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosalie K. Weston of Fairhope; daughter, Roxanna Weston Gartman (Butch) of Summerdale; sons, Lennis Weston (Karen) of Loxley and Dennis Weston (Melinda) of Magnolia Springs; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee' Weston Bass; brother, Joseph Arvin Weston; and sister, Rebecca Seiple.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment will be held at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
