ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary Club recently donated a new swing to the city of Robertsdale. Located along the city’s walking trail near the corner of Wilters Street and Alabama 59 Northbound, across from Campbell Hardware, the swing was donated through a matching grant from Rotary District 6880 with Sunset Rotary raising funds through community events.

Crews from the city of Robertsdale installed the swing with a plaque stating that the swing was donated by the club.

Founded in 2013, the Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary Club meets every Thursday beginning at 5:30 p.m. at 22765 Alabama 59 S., Robertsdale.

The Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, which boasts more than 1.2 million members in more than 35,000 clubs worldwide and operates by the credo of “Service above self,” and under the motto of the 4-way test, “Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? And Will it be beneficial to all concerned?”
