Jasmine Brundy, the swimmer pulled from the water May 24 near Perdido Pass, has died according to a statement from her family.

Orange Beach Police and Orange Beach Fire Rescue responded to a call for one swimmer found floating face down in the water Sunday, May 24, at around 5:59 p.m.

The rescued swimmer, Jasmine Brundy, 28, of Chalmette, La., was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.

Witnesses at the scene alerted authorities that at least two additional swimmers were possibly with Brundy in the water clinging to an inflatable device and flailing their arms. The missing swimmers have been identified as Ryan Guy, 28 and Darius Robinson, 22, both of New Orleans.

Search crews worked till dark Sunday and resumed the search at 7 a.m. Monday, May 25. A helicopter was used to search as well as crews on the water and scouring the beaches.

Around 5:30 a.m., May 26, authorities received a call regarding a body washed ashore at the Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores. A second body was found near 6^th Street in Gulf Shores. The bodies have been identified as Ryan Guy and Darius Robinson. Their families have been notified.
