The Town of Magnolia Springs has declared a state of emergency during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, due to growing concerns over keeping the town safe. The decision was made during an emergency council meeting held on Monday, Tue. 16. A resolution was made that Mayor Kim Koniar would have the authority during the emergency, without the need of a council vote, to determine closures of town facilities, designate essential and non-essential personnel, modify leave policies and procedures in response to the nature and severity of the present emergency, pay the recurring expenses of the town, and take all actions necessary to respond to and mitigate the public health crisis.

Until further notice, Town Hall has been closed to the public, and all business must be conducted via telephone (251-965-9888) or email (clerkms@gulftel.com), town committee meetings have been cancelled, and the Magnolia Springs Public Library has been closed to the public.
