William Joseph Godard, age 89, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018.
He loved to fly and was an aviation enthusiast. He was a lifetime member of St. James Episcopal Church, a member of the Fairhope Yacht Club and the EAA.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Sally Godard of Fairhope; son, Joe Godard of Gulf Breeze; daughter, Leane Godard Johnson of Fairhope; grandchildren, Cliff Godard and Alex Athey; faithful dog, Zoe; many other loving relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Colony Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army.
