The Baldwin County High School Lady Tigers finished in fourth place overall at the Sectional competition and qualified for the state contest for the second year in a row.

The team, currently ranked No. 15 in the state, includes Courtney Lewis, Diana Plascencia, Alondra Rangel, Amelia Dute, Peyton Franklin, Morgan Baker, Maddie Beaver, Anna Grace McKinnis and Kylee Wood.

The Lady Tigers will be joined by three members of the boys team who also qualified for state based on their individual race times: Ben White, Mason Brock and Graham Harvey.

The BCHS Cross Country team will compete against other 6A teams from across the state competition this weekend in Moundville. The Lady Tigers will be led by junior Alondra Rangel who has placed in the top ten in four out of the six races she has competed in this season, including fourth place at the county championship and tenth at sectionals. Good luck and Go Tigers!
