Better Breathers Club –Support Groups for Individuals with Lung Disease

American Lung Association Better Breathers Clubs are regularly scheduled, in-person support groups for individuals with chronic lung disease including COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer.

Learn ways to better cope with your diagnosis while getting the support of others in similar situations. These support groups give you the tools you need to live your best quality of life.

Led by an American Lung Association trained facilitator, Better Breathers Club feature educational presentations on a wide range of relevant topics, including: How COPD affects the lungs, breathing techniques, exercise, talking with your physician, medications and other treatment options, medical tests, supplemental oxygen, home healthcare, lung transplants and air pollution.

Meet March 21 from noon to 1 p.m. and May 16 from noon to 1 p.m. at North Baldwin Infirmary, 1815 Hand Ave., Bay Minette. For questions call Natalie Dupont at 937-5521 ext. 2504.
