Fallen Oak Golf Course, home to the 2019 PGA Tour Champions Rapiscan Systems Classic, has added more accolades to their long list of honors when Golfweek Magazine recently selected the facility as being one of the country’s top courses. Owned by MGM Resorts International, Fallen Oak is open exclusively to Beau Rivage guests. Honors include a number two pick as “Best Casino Course” and a No. 20 spot in the “Top 200 Resort Courses in America.”

Located fifteen minutes north of Biloxi, Miss., the par-72 links designed by Tom Fazio opened in 2006. Setting on 510 acres, it stretches 7,497 yards from the back tees and offers five sets of tees and strategic play options to challenge golfers of all skill levels. The championship course winds through an ever changing terrain along the edge of Desoto National Forest and features dramatic elevations incorporated among more than 4,000 oaks and other hardwood trees, ponds, streams, and wetlands.

Rick Gehr, the Director of Golf at Fallen Oaks, was honored as the 2018 Gulf States PGA Merchandiser of the Year. Gehr is a former PGA Professional at Craft Farms in Gulf Shores

For the past decade, Fallen Oaks has annually hosted one of the top PGA events in the South. This year’s Rapiscan Systems Classic, featuring 78 of the most recognized and talented golf professionals in the game, is set for March 25-31.
