MOBILE, Alabama — A Florida man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday evening on County Road 112 in Baldwin County.

According to a release issued Friday by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 51-year-old Terry Lynn Skinner of Molino, Florida, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was traveling west on County Road 112 near Thunder Road just before 5:30 p.m. on Thursday when his 1998 Chevrolet 2500 truck left the roadway and struck a tree.

Despite using a seat belt, according to the release, Skinner suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
