The City of Gulf Shores’ Beautification Board recently awarded its three Seasonal Beautification Awards.

Jimmie Valkenburgh was awarded a Beautification Award for her beautiful yard which displays various collections of plants and trees. Several areas in the front and back have smaller garden rooms featuring specimens collected over her years of gardening. Brad, Jimmie's son and his wife, Nina, assist with the care of the gardens.

Robert and Janet Murphree were awarded with City of Gulf Shores Seasonal Beautification award. The Murphree’s yard displays fall decorations with Halloween touches including Jack O Lanterns crafted from wooden pallets.

The City of Gulf Shores Beautification Board awarded a third Seasonal Beautification Award to Robert Lee, Michael Deal, Jackson Lee, Jordon Lee and Saebel. Their home displays many fall colors and is accented with Halloween decorations.
