Delta Dash 2018 Set

7th Annual endurance event set for Sept. 29 in Stockton, Alabama

Posted

BAY MINETTE, Ala. -- Experience the Delta like never before. A five-K obstacle course race designed to challenge the heart, body and soul. The goal is simple: provide participants of all lifestyles and ages with an opportunity to test endurance, stamina, resilience, quick decision-making skills, animal instinct and the ability to enjoy a face-full of mud, leaves or whatever else the terrain throws their way.
The Delta Dash will take place over three miles of wooded terrain where several exhilarating obstacles will be encountered. Some of these obstacles will consist of walls, ramps, mud crawling, detours off main trails, through a creek, over a hay bale and more.
The 7th Annual Delta Dash will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the upper Delta near Lower Bryant’s Landing, a short distance from the Tensaw River. The Delta Dash will give you the opportunity to get down and dirty in the upper Delta and experience the quaintness of racing in the woods of Stockton while testing your level of endurance. Competitive? Register for the 9am heat and join the chase for the "Golden Gator!"
Now in its 6th year, the Delta Dash has hosted more than 3,600 participants and raised nearly $130,000 since its inception in 2012. This year’s event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. Proceeds not only benefit the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, but also a newly-developed scholarship program and several other educational endeavors overseen by the Young Professionals of the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.
This year we are hoping to be able to give away more scholarship and give more back to our community. There will be music, food and fun for everyone -- runners and their families! Come and join us in North Baldwin County to experience the Delta like you never have before.
Register now and begin preparing for an adventure that will push you to new limits.
